Your responsibilities

Participation in the project « ProgRAMM – Proactive phytosanitary risk analysis through modeling and monitoring:

adaptation to long-term risks caused by climate-sensitive harmful organisms”

Creation of an interactive online portal/web-platform for the tool developed in the project;

Development and programming of interactive web interfaces for the visualisation of model results;

Dynamic integration of the front-end with the model and distributed (geo) data through web services;

Close cooperation with the team members and project partners on the appropriate and user-friendly design of the

online platform;

Documentation and presentation of the results at joint meetings.

Your profile

a Bachelor’s degree as web-developer (FH) or a comparable degree;

work experience in the frontend and backend development of web applications;

good knowledge of HTML, CSS, php and JavaScript and development frameworks;

knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C ++, python) and relational databases (SQL, Oracle);

basic German language skills are necessary.

We offer

varied, challenging and interesting job in an international working environment.

part-time employment with 29.25 hours a week, for up to 12 months.

remuneration according to salary group E11 TVöD if you have the required qualifications and skills. The employment

contract will be based on the collective agreement for the public service-Ost (TVöD-Ost). Depending on the application

and experience, an additional temporary IT specialist allowance of up to € 1,000 per month may be eligible.

starting date: 1. January 2021.
