ABOUT THIS JOB

 

This is a full-time, permanent job. Remote or hybrid ideally based in The UK (in Leeds we have our brand new, world class, state-of-the-art 65,000 ft² clinic with 100 beds fully dedicated to CPS  research).

 

We are also accepting applications from Portugal, Spain, France, DACH or Italy.

 

Thrive in a Global Team: This job requires some schedule flexibility to collaborate effectively with US colleagues during core overlap hours.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Using technical reporting and process measurement, you will support Fortrea CPS business by providing data decision support for financial and operational processes.

 

You will act as a primary person in the:

 

  • Assessment and approval of budgets,
  • Strategic Pricing positioning,
  • Advising Sales and Client Managers on client pricing negotiations, discount guidance and authorizations.

 

You will analyze margins and identify the key factors contributing to project profitability. You’ll then leverage this analysis to recommend the necessary changes to enhance their financial viability.

 

You will also take a leading part:

 

  • Building and maintaining internal costing models and tools,
  • Developing commercial data pricing analysis for key insights into Fortrea´s commercial engine.

 

 

We will trust you to produce the CPS Operations Dashboard by:

 

  • Evaluating key operational processes and tracking cross-departmental performance metrics and milestones with the aim of enhancing business operations,
  • Producing key metrics monthly reports.

 

 

YOU NEED TO BRING

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business or Life Sciences

 

 

Experience & Skills

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fields of financial budgeting, pricing, margin analysis, proposals or contracts.

 

Previous experience in the clinical research sector is a plus (i.e. translating protocol procedures to costing models, building clinical budgets based on preliminary feasibility indications, etc.)

 

 

  • This job relies heavily on Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency is a must-have.

 

  • Another prerequisite for success in this position is familiarity with dashboarding software, especially Tableau.

 

  • Efficient multitasker: adept at prioritizing tasks within a dynamic, changing priorities and rapidly expanding environment.

 

  • Skilled in building rapport through diplomacy and tact, with excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey analysis and recommendations clearly and concisely.
