Milwaukee Athletics currently has 300 student-athletes participating in fifteen NCAA Division I sports as part of the Horizon League Conference and has moved itself into a prominent position both regionally and nationally.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations these positions will assist in the recruitment of student-athletes; practice and game planning; player skill development; scouting of opponents; community relations; office management and promotional activities. In addition, other duties as assigned.

The incumbents shall know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of this agreement. Employee shall take all reasonable steps to endeavor to ensure that all assistant coaches, and any other employees for whom Employee is administratively responsible, comply with aforesaid policies, rules, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Collegiate, professional and/or international coaching or playing experience
  • Experience Recruiting Student Athletes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Evidence of familiarity with NCAA rules
  • Demonstrated practice and game planning experience
  • Demonstrated evidence of athlete skill development knowledge
  • Demonstrated scouting experience
  • Demonstrated evidence of community relations and fundraising ability
  • Demonstrated experience with academic monitoring and advising/counseling of student athletes
  • Evidence of ability and desire to work with a diverse student population
