You will produce exceptional technical documents including user manuals, message standards, technical specifications, quick references, page-level help, forms, and other documents as assigned. Documentation is a dynamic departmentthe contribution of all members are key to producing quality documentation and maintaining our high standards. You will have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, experience writing business documentation, and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced development environment. Under limited direction, produce exceptional documentation that enables clients to understand Fiservs products and efficiently complete their jobs with minimal service calls. This includes:

As a Technical Writing-Documentation Specialist, you will:

• Manage documentation projects throughout the project life cycle and represent the Documentation team in project team meetings.
• Produce all documentation deliverables within project timeframes
• Analyze and research available technical documentation, write descriptive copy, and verify documentation content with related departments
• Ability to analyze and translate technical and functional designs into user friendly client material
• Review requirements and functional design documents to determine the product enhancements
• Master the department selected style guides and department procedures

Basic qualifications for consideration:

• 3+ years of experience in the Technical Writing industry

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Credit card processing knowledge preferred
• Experience with Madcap Flare software and HTML preferred
• Advanced skills with screen capture programs and have a solid understanding of screen editing and importing into other programsFlare, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Advanced skills with desktop publishing and document design philosophies
• Expert level technical writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with limited supervision
• Flexibility to quickly shift priorities to meet critical deadlines
• Comfortable communicating in groups of all sizes and at all levels of an organization
• Ability to organize and effectively conduct small to mid-size group meetings
• Knowledge of EFT industry

Travel: Minimal travel as needed (5% anticipated) to support business needs.
