Your Challenge

The candidate will be hired in Paris and will report to Country CFO and functionally to the HUB Head of Accounting. She/he will be responsible for leading the accounting department, providing full support to the Management, fulfill any legal and company requirements through the effective implementation and continuous improvement in her/him area of responsibilities:

• Manage the local French Accounting department and collaborating closely with the Hub Accounting & Shared Services organizations to continuously provide services to the businesses in the area of accounting know-how, finance activities and M&A transactions
• Ensure that Statutory Financial Statements are in accordance with local GAAP
• Liaise with external auditors for the annual statutory audit report and ensure the timeliness of the audit report issuance
• Ensure that all statutory requirements are met and are adopted accordingly in the company’s operational and financial activities and other government rules and regulations
• Ensure compliance with risk and internal controls related to accounting function
• Handle, develop, and coach the Accounting team to fulfill the responsibilities assigned
• Work closely with Executive Management to regularly supervise, present and comment the business performance and the related key financial data
• Act as a trusted Business Partner for the Businesses, focusing on guiding them in accounting topics, remediate issues timely and monitoring of topics
• Close interaction with Shareholder controlling and other Headquarter departments, such as internal audit

What you need to bring with you

We are looking for an expert financial leader. You should already have significant operational experience in leading a finance function or similar role with:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar position
• Expert in French gaap accounting, IFRS and deep knowledge of the French Tax system
• Good understanding of business specifics
• Experience in different businesses and non-business environments (ex. Audit, Tax)
• Experience in working with different cultures, languages and customer backgrounds
• Proactive approach, always looking to add new value to the organization and being well trusted partner of the Management
• Team working attitude, good leadership, excellent communication and analytical skills
• Degree in accounting DCG or DSCG or similar
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
• Open minded to a continuously digital growing finance environment
