DESCRIPTION

The EU EE/Low ASP team is looking for a passionate, proven, ambitious and customer-obsessed individual to lead our key basket building and consolidation programs, including Amazon Basket (AB), Multi Quantity Discounts, OMOQ, Virtual Multipacks and driving EU-wide EU UPP goals. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the continued development, expansion and optimization of these initiatives across all marketplaces and categories. You will expand item selection eligible for programs, enhance the shopping experience to make consolidated purchasing easier for customers, and reduce split shipments by working closely with supply chain teams. As the leader of these efforts, you will directly partner with teams across worldwide tech, operations, pricing, marketing and more. You will also interact closely with senior leadership to evolve our approach and grow the EU business. Given the high-profile and fast-paced nature of this role, flexibility, strong work ethic and experience delivering complex projects across functions are essential. The successful candidate has a proven ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams, coordinate roadmaps globally, and comfortably engage executive stakeholders through written updates and presentations.

As lead of these programs, you will drive their expansion across all marketplaces and product categories, expanding selection eligible to the program, enhancing the shopping experience to make it easier for customers to discover and purchase eligible items, and reducing split shipments by optimizing the supply chain. You will work in close partnership with WW teams spanning from Finance, Retail/3P, EU InTech, Supply Chain, DEX, SCOT, WW Pricing & Promotions, Marketing, and Legal/PR. You will also closely interact with senior leadership and you will directly impact how we evolve and grow the Stores business.

Given the fast-paced context and high leadership exposure, flexibility and a strong work ethic are a must. The successful candidate has a proven track record of delivering complex projects in a highly ambiguous environments, leading a team of product managers and finance partners to deliver through others, coordinating product roadmaps across multiple tech teams, and is exceptionally comfortable in interacting with senior leadership in both written and oral form. You are analytical in nature and comfortable dealing with numbers, you can build a business case to prioritize your projects, and are comfortable writing VP-facing narratives (e.g., QBRs, OP1/2, SVP reviews).

Key job responsibilities
As WW Amazon Basket lead, you will:

– Expand eligible selection across all product categories with a goal of reaching over 50% of Amazon’s global product selection.

– Lead experiments to refine eligibility criteria and automate selection decisions to maximize promotion impact and cost savings.

– Drive the tech roadmap and launches that enhance the customer shopping experience and promote basket building opportunities throughout the online journey to increase the program’s adoption (e.g., product recommendations, cart progress trackers etc.)

– Accelerate feature parity across Amazon’s international marketplaces and drive convergence with other basket-building promotions.

– Identify opportunities to influence inventory placement decisions and reduce split shipments for promotion items.

– Develop data-driven scientific frameworks to guide decision making on promotion expansion efforts.

– Partner with operations, inventory planning, and promotions teams to maximize synergies across initiatives.

– Analyze performance data, customer metrics, and downstream financial impacts to inform strategy and future roadmap

You should have a background in navigating ambiguity and driving projects with large scale impact. You must be able to work cross functionally across internal and external teams. Reporting clear updates on prioritization, as well as driving closure on commitments with a concrete timeline is critical to the role. In addition, the candidate should be comfortable leading a team of dedicated PMs to deliver on their extended roadmap and scale the program.

The candidate for this role will:

– Be methodical, analytical, objective, and goal-focused with a driving need for accuracy in attacking difficult problems.

– Identify, assess, track and resolve issues and risks at multiple levels.

– Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders. Be effective in communicating with executives

– Build simplified processes to manage intake requests and drive effective decision making. Enjoy solving problems and be an expert at crafting solutions, both strategically and tactically

– Be able to work cross-functionally with WW business teams, executives and software development teams.

– Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with the ability to think big while paying careful attention to detail. Being effective at influencing partner teams and aligning roadmaps is a must.
