We are looking for a talented lawyer to support Amazon Business in the EU. This is a role that will deal with numerous complex issues including strategic contract negotiations with government entities.

Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will advise on all legal issues affecting Amazon Business. The leader hired for this role will help enable to growth of Amazon Business, be involved in strategic negotiations and compliance initiatives, and ensure we continue to delight customers.
We are looking for candidates who are innovative, progressive, extremely hands-on, and highly customer-obsessed professionals. Developing innovative solutions to novel legal problems is part of our daily business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Outstanding academic qualifications • Significant legal experience with a minimum of 6+ years of legal experience • Excellent English and French language skills that include the ability to draft and negotiate contracts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on project management experience, including excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous environments
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
A team player and consensus builder with great people skills and a good sense of humor who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization
Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization
