The ideal candidate will have an educational background, will be degree educated, and will have adequate experience as an ELT Teacher, Teacher Trainer and/or Sales Support. They will also possess an understanding of the general features and benefits of ELT digital platforms.

Job Title: Digital & Sales Support Specialist – EMEA

Based: Remotely based within Europe

 

Job Purpose:

 

The Digital & Sales Support Specialist will provide digital onboarding support and sales support to customers within the EMEA region, and to help promote our digital and print products across the territory.

 

Through strong planning and organizational skills, they will engage with teachers from a range of different backgrounds and provide effective support to our digital customers, helping to provide a flawless digital experience.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Successful implementation (setup & onboarding)

  • Provide digital training sessions as onboarding support for first time users, and for existing customers to ensure they can optimally navigate our digital products, training resources, and overall organization
  • Work closely with the Regional CSM to adapt and last-mile customer-facing presentations and supporting documentation for both the rep and the customer
  • Help build / adapt digital onboarding support tools and resources for the territory.

 

Product use and satisfaction (activation & usage)

  • Cultivate and maintain extensive knowledge of our digital platform, Spark, alongside of our ELT / CBE product list.
  • Cultivate and maintain extensive knowledge of our digital customers, their usage and take action with the sales representative
  • Plan and attend customer meetings both on site and via Zoom/Teams, prioritise training requests and tasks, and efficiently deliver digital training sessions.
  • Collect customer feedback in their day-to-day conversations and interaction with Instructors and School Administrators and respond accordingly

 

Renewal for the following school year (retention)

  • Maximise Sales support to key customers in the territory by monitoring and reporting out on usage
  • Take a pro-active approach to supporting sales rep in renewing digital business.
  • Manage and control new edition processes

 

Promote Digital Platform

  • Work closely with the Regional CSM and the Senior ELT Academic Consultant to craft / adapt and deliver customer-facing presentations on our digital platforms and ELT/CBE products.
  • Represent NGL EMEA in workshops, training sessions, and present at key events such as conferences, exhibitions as a guest speaker to inspire teachers and spread the value of NGL digital offering.
  • Attend workshops, training sessions, and events where guest speakers inspire teachers.

 

Travel Requirements:

 

This role requires occasional/frequent travel to customers and events within the EMEA territory.

 

Crucial Role Requirements:

 

Experience/Achievements

  • Three years educational experience (ELT teacher/Teacher Trainer), Sales support experience and / or field sales experience.

 

Skills/knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate ideas effectively
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • A customer-focused attitude with a consultative approach to selling
  • A deep understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • An understanding of the general features and benefits of ELT digital platforms
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with an enthusiastic and self-motivated approach
  • The ability to connect with all levels of personnel both internally and externally
  • Flexibility to adapt training approach to suit the customer
  • Ability to absorb and maintain extensive digital and product knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Highly proficient in English (other languages are desirable, but not crucial)

 

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level
  • Full driving licence
