We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Revenue Operations Product Services Admin. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee the efficient functioning of our revenue operations systems in regards to GTM applications of product usage data and quote to cash motions. This position will require partnering with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across Docker to ensure alignment and coordination to deliver outcomes. You will be the linchpin between various departments and ensure seamless communication, project management, and delivery of custom built applications within the CPQ processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Own the delivery of product usage data into the GTM teams
  • Partner with stakeholders from marketing, sales, finance, customer success, product, and engineering to understand use cases and contribute to the development of a roadmap for future needs
  • Build trust with all stakeholders through regular communication, status updates, and timely task completion
  • Identify and report risks, delivery date concerns, resource availability, and dependencies
  • Manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities, ensuring proactive results
  • Track and communicate specifics on OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and provide solutions to overcome roadblocks

 

Project Management:

  • Instill an efficient project management workflow across the team, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Track project progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to relevant managers and project stakeholders
  • Build and maintain project plans and drive project kickoff initiatives, including stakeholder identification, establishing recurring meetings, determining project scope, and milestones
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics to surface insights on team productivity and relevant metrics

Technical Expertise:

  • Collaborate with security on defining and implementing access control policies and practices
  • Install software, recommend and configure delivery mechanisms, and ensure proper configurations
  • Own containerized applications and Github source code for customer usage delivery and assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Manage changes that result in the containerized app being built and sent to ECR
  • Test and troubleshoot updates and changes, resolving performance-related issues

Communication and Leadership:

  • Implement strategic plan strategies for the RevOps team
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of quote to cash and CPQ processes while building expertise and technical knowledge among team members
  • Provide leadership and training in developing IT standards and practices around customer usage data
  • Proactively stay up to date with the latest advancements in information technology to build expertise among colleagues

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in system administration or project management within a business operations environment
  • Possess an advanced understanding of current information technologies, especially within revenue operations and product insights systems and applications
  • Basic familiarity with Slack applications, having deployed an app to a workspace before, granting scopes, and understanding the token flow
  • Basic AWS Proficiency in ECS, ECR, Networking
  • GitHub/GitHub Actions proficiency
  • Familiarity with modern data stack technologies and concepts (e.g. Snowflake, Looker, dbt)
  • Knowledge of operating system software and software installation and configuration
  • Some experience in analytics and ability to visualize data and metrics through dashboards or other reporting tool
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Monday.com, Asana) and skilled in Agile concepts and practices
  • Proven experience in project management, system administration, and program management
  • Be proficient in working with the latest technical support and be capable of performing advanced problem-solving independently
  • Strong ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals and align data initiatives with the overall company and team strategies
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Adept at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Expectations 

30 days 

  • Get to know Docker! Vision, mission, values
  • Request and confirm access & permissions for all tools, systems, platforms and channels required for day to day activities
  • Read all relevant onboarding, training and documentation materials
  • Meet all system admins, familiarize with data resources and analysts in the company and identify their expertise, domain, and current projects
  • Meet cross functional stakeholders in marketing, finance, customer success, sales, product, and engineering and determine pain points and priorities
  • Observe current team workflows, practices, and communication channels to identify potential improvements and optimizations
  • Review current backlog, roadmap, and OKRs

 

90 days

  • Work with current project owners to transition and build out the quarterly roadmap and sprint schedule
  • Establish regular communication channels with stakeholders and team members
  • Actively run the agile workflow for the team and own sprints, retrospectives, and check-ins
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the agile workflow and communication channels for the core and extended data team
  • Publish status reports for current projects and be able to answer questions pertaining to risks and completion estimates
  • Develop and implement dashboards and analytics to provide insights into productivity and relevant metrics
  • Coordinate enablement planning with GTM delivery teams

 

1 year 

  • Own the customer usage roadmap with define milestones that align with pipeline goals
  • Become the single point of contact for status updates for customer usage and quote to cash related projects
  • Find opportunities for accelerating development and optimizing processes within and outside of the RevOps team
  • Demonstrate advanced technical expertise in revenue operations systems and applications
  • Lead the team in adopting and implementing cutting-edge technologies and best practices
  • Build out longer term roadmaps and granular resource allocation timelines for project management
  • Strong grasp of team related metrics and insights for predictable resource allocation to meet SLAs
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of Docker’s data, relevant systems, and challenges by being deeply connected with other teams through regular and open collaboration
  • Establish and document processes, protocols, SLAs for the internal team and stakeholder collaboration
  • Proactively identifies hidden opportunities for improvement within existing processes and suggests solutions for their remediation
