We are looking for a Regional Head of Marketing to lead our local marketing strategy and initiatives for a region in Europe. This role will not only oversee the local marketing strategy and execution in all respective markets, but will also professionally challenge and guide the local marketing teams to develop  the most efficient, creative and successful marketing activities. This role requires a strong professional marketing background, outstanding communication skills and the ability to drive cross country collaboration and knowledge transfer.



YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Full Marketing accountability for a country cluster consisting of 3-4 markets
  • Manage, guide and support a team of 3-4 Heads of Marketing
  • Accountable for delivering on local and cluster business targets, through outstanding local brand activations, local brand content and tactical 360 brand campaigns
  • Supporting the central Digital Marketing and the central Brand teams in delivering high quality and high impact acquisition, retention and brand campaigns
  • Adapting central campaigns based on local specificities and needs to ensure local marketing impact
  • Closely align central marketing strategy with the central Marketing Leadership team and communicate and drive the strategy locally
  • Drive the cross-market collaboration and knowledge transfer within the market cluster and together with the other Regional Heads of Marketing
  • Work closely with other central stakeholders such as Brand and Marketplace Performance, as well as with other cluster responsible functions and leads such as Regional General Managers, Digital Marketing, CRM, Marketplace Performance and PR.
  • Partner closely with central Marketplace Performance and Data teams to track and measure all marketing activities and to make recommendations for future improvements and optimisation
  • Align local budget planning and allocation closely with central Marketplace Performance team
  • Develop and define annual and quarterly brand, acquisition and retention goals for all respective cluster markets
  • Ensure an efficient usage of local marketing budgets across all markets in the respective cluster
  • Be the voice of the markets in strategic discussions and bring customer insight to the forefront of daily operations so as to strengthen our go-to-market and brand communications


TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
  • 7+ years experience in Marketing, including 5+ years in a leadership position
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Advanced general marketing skills
  • Advanced budget management experience
  • Strong team player and communicator
  • Self-starter. Takes the initiative. Focused on solving problems and challenging the status quo
  • Fluency in English, other (European) languages is a strong plus
