The Southern European Corporate FX Team is responsible for marketing FX risk management solutions to clients in Spain, Portugal & Italy. The team is focused on derivatives solutions that includes among the other FX forwards / options / more structured products that tends to be tailor made to best serve the client needs.

We are a markets based private side team that works closely with investment banking, corporate finance, DCM. We interact on daily basis with both trading and structuring desk to support our clients hedging needs.

Job responsibilities:

The opportunity is to join the team as an Analyst covering primarily Spanish speaking Corporate clients focusing on FX products.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in partnership with the rest of the team, which offers a multi-product sales offering to the client base, but also work closely with Investment Banking, DCM, Trading & Structuring to deliver JPMs full suite of products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct Sales Coverage of Corporate clients across Southern Europe
  • Marketing and sales of FX Derivative products

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skill

  • The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of information; strong technical ability is essential
  • You demonstrate ability to understand simple as well as complex derivative products and ability to price them
  • You are familiar with both power point and excel as the job requires presentation – ad hoc analysis
  • You have ability to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization
  • You are self-motivated, with the leading skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • You demonstrate reliability and team-player personality

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Fluency in Italian is preferrable but not required
  • Strong technical ability in FX Products & understanding of Market space
  • Sales experience covering corporate clients
