Senior Media Consultant

This role can be done on a remote basis from any European country where Ebiquity operates and where the applicant has the right to work; this includes UK, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Bulgaria.

You should also have very good knowledge of all major non-digital media planning and buying tactics.

What is the purpose of the role

 

This is a senior role in our Insights Team. We deliver insights and actionable recommendations around advertiser’s media activity, and a wide range of ad hoc and ongoing consultancy projects. You will work closely with the Global Insights Directors. The role will suit an ambitious and experienced person with a strong interest in media, marketing, communication, data analytics and media consulting.

Key responsibilities

  • Media Performance reviews and Insights delivery for Global clients.
  • Craft the narrative for the client presentation, using data to provide the storytelling
  • Review reports, spotting patterns, outliers and interesting data points
  • Find insights and make actionable recommendations that add value to client business
  • Provide answers to the “So what?” and “Why?” questions that clients may ask
  • Present results to clients in a compelling way
  • Day-to day cooperation and interaction with clients and their agencies
  • Participate in Media Management projects including agency selection processes
  • Superuser of internal platforms to support the delivery and presentations
  • Collaborate internally to develop new services and solutions to client needs
  • Stay updated regarding client’s competitive marketplace as well as the media industry overall

 

What will you bring to the role

  • Minimum three year’s media experience from media agency or a media consulting side – preferably longer
  • Very good project management skills – accountable for deadlines and deliverables to clients
  • Experience with TV and digital media planning, buying and standard reporting metrics
  • A very good understanding of and deep interest in the media and advertising marketplace
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Numerate & analytical with excellent attention to details
  • A self-going team player with an open mind and positive attitude
