Marketing Manager – EMEA based, Global Marketing

The vital role of proteins in understanding human biology has been recognized for many decades, but technological limitations severely restricted the comprehensive investigation of the huge number of proteins that could be important in different biological processes and diseases. With Olink, scientists can now simultaneously measure thousands of human proteins using just a few µL of blood sample, with highly specific, thoroughly validated assays that cover a very wide dynamic range (fg/mL to µg/mL).

Position Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and execute marketing tactics to engage the scientific research community
  • Develop concise, consistent messaging about our products, services, and information resources
  • Work closely across the organization to ensure we are telling a consistent and accurate story
  • Identify, set and report KPIs on impact from marketing channels and initiatives
  • Develop and oversee the creation of engaging content that introduces products and invites customers to explore our portfolio and deepen their engagement with our products and services
  • Explore and improve customer acquisition funnels within paid marketing channels/ campaigns
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey, and formulate a strategy of how and when we should talk to each audience segment
  • Works closely with customers to ensure they’re receiving the tools and support they need to sell and market their Olink-related services successfully
  • Assist in creating sales and marketing training courses and educational materials for the customer and other members of the department
  • Assist in creating and launching co-marketing campaigns and initiatives which will include marketing via in-person, print, and digital platforms
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of products and services, assist customers with questions and suggest the best products for their needs
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or related field required. Advanced degree in the life sciences preferred
  • several years experience in marketing, marketing communications, or product management
  • Innovation and creativity creating brand strategies to attract customers and differentiate from the competition
  • Demonstrated experience with all major marketing channels including digital, live events, and social media
  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics tools/applications including Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, paid search, and paid display
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across organization with wide variety of people
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
