The Position/Role

The Kids Club Attendant responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and reports to the Chef Concierge.

Your missions as Kids Club Attendant :

  • Plan and execute safe, fun-filled and educational daily scheduled programs for guests ranging in ages from 4 to 12 years.
  • Prepare the KFAS facility on a daily basis to handle a minimum of 10 children.
  • React to changes in scheduling, weather or number of children with prepared backup plan.
  • Converse with guests and answer questions regarding the hotel.
  • Provide orientation of KFAS facility.
  • Provide management with monthly inventory of supplies and list of supplies to be ordered for KFAS.
  • Adhere to all corporate core standards in execution of programming.
  • Work closely with management to ensure proper standards of hygiene and functioning of equipment.
  • Create and promote activities for Bank Holiday/Half-Term/Summer Holiday periods, liaising with Spa/F&B to ensure a cross-selection of activities are offered.
  • Responsible for all waivers to be signed and completed for each child visiting KFAS.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the facility at all times.
  • Willing and able to cross train and assist in other departments as required e.g. Doorman, Concierge etc.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
  • Accommodate guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary
  • Handle a wide variety of guest requests with utmost professionalism to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel, displaying a great sense of style and integrity
  • Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Review daily movements (arrivals, departure, guests in house itineraries, restaurant reservations etc) to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, VIP Guests and Groups (if applicable).
  • Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Promote the services offered by the hotel and the Domain du Mont d’Arbois
  • Memorise regular guests’ preferences and habits to provide attentive and personalized service.
  • Follow special handling instructions and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Display a friendly, courteous and professional attitude in all dealings with guests and employees with an emphasis on fulfilling requests.
  • Handle guests’ complaints in conjunction with management, keeping them well informed as to the issues and actions taken.
  • Communicate to all support departments any necessary information or requests.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of previous experience at a similar position required.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel/resort preferred.
  • Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the French language.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
  • Ability to re calm during challenging situations.
  • Strong commumainnication and interpersonal skills.
