What does a great Project Specialist do?

You will be responsible for the technical project management of add on products for existing clients onto the Fiserv credit platform. You will have the opportunity to schedule and coordinate the key activities with internal departments, external vendors and the client to ensure the client installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements. This position provides exciting challenges with the opportunity to learn and manage a variety of different project types. The experience gained in this role positions you to become an invaluable subject matter expert playing a meaningful role in the satisfaction of our clients.



As a Project Specialist, you can look forward to:

  • Acting as the primary project contact for clients and internal groups for client related development, testing, implementation readiness and final implementation.
  • Providing continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Developing project plans and related task lists as necessary, updating plans accordingly.
  • Managing multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining professional client relationships and managing expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.
  • Occasional after hour support of client implementations.
  • Working with project managers and project teams to ensure internal project audit points are managed and tracked
  • Developing and maintaining consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes.
  • Representing the department for internal special projects.


You’re the kind of person who:

Has experience working in a project management, implementations or financial institution services role. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of clients and internal staff. You have a strong sense of accountability and follow through, effective problem solving skills, as well as a dedication to positive solutions and the client experience.



Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management, implementations or financial institution services role.
  • Experience managing projects or coordinating project activities.
  • Ability to provide after hour support of client implementations if needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.


Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Credit card processing experience
  • Financial industry or installations experience
